Dang it, that big truck in front of my car just dropped a small rock and it cracked my windshield! I could not get the company name of the truck and I seriously doubt they would have paid for the repairs anyway, but boy I was pissed!

I tried to repair the crack myself but the product I bought at the local auto parts store did not work as advertised.  I heard from the auto parts guy that they seldom work but people still buy them anyway…like me.!

It seems there is a professional version of the kit that has a vacuum device which sucks the epoxy into the crack and without this vacuum device the epoxy from the store just cant get inside the crack where it can stay and fill the hole.

You can buy one of these kits, but I think you will just waste your money.

Your auto insurance company might pay to have the crack professionally repaired, so call them and ask if you have this kind of coverage.
